NOTHGARD is a German Melodic Death Metal band, founded 2009.

To date we released 4 full length albums, 1 orchestral EP and various singles.

With our 2 latest albums the band entered the official german album charts, while the orchestral EP was part of Denmark`s classical music charts.

The band has been active live since the beginning and played countless international shows and tours all over Europe, festivals such as Wacken Open Air, Summer Breeze, Masters Of Rock, Rock Harz, 70000 TONS OF Metal and many more.

After 2 years of silence Nothgard is back in autumn 2025 and celebrates this return with the opcoming digital single and music video “OPIUM DREAMS”, to be released Nov. 13th via Apostasy records.
